Alshaunda Roberts, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, serves as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Paul Quinn College. She is focused on building a championship-caliber program grounded in discipline, development, and legacy.
Before stepping into the head coaching role, Coach Roberts spent two seasons as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Paul Quinn, where she played a key role in player development, recruitment, and fostering a competitive team culture. Her time as an assistant laid a strong foundation for her transition into leadership and deepened her commitment to the program’s long-term success.
With a background as a dual-sport athlete at Alcorn State University and academic focus in Sports Management, combined with over a decade of experience training and coaching young athletes, Coach Roberts brings a dynamic mix of energy, structure, and mentorship to the court. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes the development of well-rounded student-athletes through skill enhancement, academic responsibility, and strong character.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Roberts is the founder of 3P Elite, a basketball development program committed to purposeful training, personal growth, and community engagement. Her work through 3P has helped countless athletes elevate their game while instilling values that last beyond the sport.
Coach Roberts continues to lead with passion, vision, and a deep commitment to the student-athlete experience at Paul Quinn College.
