The loss moves the Tigers to 6–9 overall and 1–1 in conference play, while Dillard improves to 5–5, 3–1.

After dropping a tight first set, the Tigers roared back to take three straight and close out the Bulldogs, 22–25, 25–12, 25–18, 25–12. With the victory, Paul Quinn improved to 3–8 overall, while Tougaloo remained winless at 0–6.
